Each month the SCC Crew picks a special car to be the car of the month from our forum called SCC Garage. Here is the present and the past winners for 2009.
As the deadline approaches to complete our home rebuild my online time has been limited. We will have another COTM for November.
This month just had to be the Kevin Morgan Concept TA.
It was unveiled this month at the 2009 Trans-Am Nationals in Dayton, Ohio.
You can see it the complete story on the "5th Gen" page.
Congratulations to "KevinMorganDesigns"!
This month SCC would like to feature "EchoMirage" with his jet black 2002 Trans-Am.
"EchoMirage" ordered the car brand new in Aug. 2001. He took delivery on Oct. 1st 2001. Currently his baby has only 25K miles. She’s a weekend driver, Autox/track day racer as well.
His car is outfitted with Koni SA shocks, Vogtland springs, LCA reloc brackets, adj. LCA, PHB, upper A arms, STB, C5 brakes, TA girdle, pacesetter LTs with TSP catted Y with original loudmouth, and nearly every engine bolt on there is. She also features custom leather and embroidered Arizen drivers seat with 5pt harness and harness bar.
Congratulations to "EchoMirage"!
Our home was destroyed by Hurricane Ike. During these months we took some time off to rebuild our home. If time permits as we get rolling again we way fill in these months.
This month SCC would like to feature "79WS6TA" with his super clean 1979 Trans-Am.
The interior is as nice as the exterior so it is no surprise this car is an award winner!
Congratulations to "79WS6TA"!
This month SCC would like to feature "xcler8", one of our SCC Forum Worldwide members. "xcer8's" nest is in Brisbane, Australia.
She is a 1978 Trans Am with a 403 Oldsmobile engine in it. It is automatic. "xcler8" has had her for 6 years now and "xcler8" and the family goes to swap meetings and cruises in it on the weekends. It stands out in the crowd because they're pretty rare there and it looks so cool.
When is the last time you saw a dash like this? I think this dash is very cool!
Congratulations to "xcer8"!
This month SCC would like to feature "Raven", one of our SCC Forum Moderators, and one of his babies called "Tracy".
"Raven" is another person who I am fortunate enough to call my friend. He is the one responsible for bringing "Eleanor" to Mason and I.
She is a 1978 Mayan Red Trans Am. "Tracy" has a monstrous 455 Super Duty under the hood and a manual tranny!
He took great pains with her restoration.
You can see "Raven's" whole story and restoration by clicking "Tracy" or by clicking any of the photos.
He also has a 1977 S.E. called "Shelley" you can see by clicking

Congratulations to "Raven"!
This month SCC would like to feature Kevin Morgan, our PR Manager, an SCC Forum Moderator, and most of all, a person who I am fortunate enough to call my friend.
This is his baby, a 1981 Turbo Trans-Am which was modified into this 1977.
Kevin even cut and applied the vinyl bird to the hood himself.
Many of you may already know his work, which is featured below. He is the Designer of the Trans Am Concept Drawings and was also the official designer of the T/A Nationals merchandise.

Congratulations to "KevinMorganDesigns"!
The SCC gang tries to hit as many events as we can. In 2009 we were very fortunate.
PINKS All Out
"Doughnut" and I had a blast at PINKS All Out when it came to our state.

We went to cheer on a friend of ours, David Wix in his '56 Corvette.

While we were there we got to meet several drivers with their Trans-Ams, including the 3rd place out of 500 cars.
Trans-Am Nationals
"Raven" and I traveled to Dayton, Ohio to see the unveiling of our friend Kevin Morgan's Concept Car.

We meet several great people while we spent the weekend trying to take in the amazing 400+ Firebirds, Formula and Trans-Ams.

Here are some of our photos.
You can read more about our trip by clicking Garage Talk.
Local Shows
We try to hit as many local shows as we can. "Eleanor" gets a good bath and catchs an eye or two.

"white lightning" meets up with us. We are the only two birds in the bunch.
AutoRama
"Doughnut", Donald, "zman" and I met up with "TransAm99" to spend the weekend taking in the 500+ cars.

More to come...
